Reflections – Chanel No.5 art by artist Martin Allen

Martin’s interpretation of an empty vintage bottle of Chanel No.5 perfume. He lovestrying to capture the irridesence and reflections of the glass.

It is said by some that a bottle of perfume can last a lifetime…the who…the where…the when…

Now all that remains are the memories and reflections.

This is available as an A2 limted edition print (from an edition of 100) on Somerset Velvet paper or as a 92cm x 62cm high quality limited edition print on canvas (from an edition of 50). Both the A2 and canvas print are embellished with 22ct. gold leaf making each one ‘unique’. Each comes with a certificate of authenticity.

About the artist
Martin Allen is a London based artist. Martin came to oil painting through a circuitous route, having drawn for most of his life and being largely self-taught he was eventually re-introduced to oil painting as a preferred medium to create his varied and diverse work. The methods he uses to paint are classic ones, using layered paint applications rounded off by oil glazes. These create, add depth and harmonise colours. He has shown solo numerous times at Goodwood, The Affordable Art Fair and others, been a finalist at the ‘London art Biennale 2019’, alongside various commissions including work for the BP Shipping collection, and most recently Vogue magazine.
